There's a lot going on around here. A lot of painting and gift making and house keeping and food preserving and yard cleaning and pony wrangling and content writing. And a whole lotta waiting for baby. That mamma is a trooper for sure.
I was up late into the night finishing up these original plaster painting bezel pendants. The quiet kept me company along with a dog on each foot. The tree stayed lit, cut glass ornaments hung from the chandelier above the dining table where I was stationed, and down the hall I could hear a cat snoring. The House seems so much more alive when all the people in it are asleep. She's a broad woman, graceful and patient with wide hips to birth a lifetime of memories. I move slowly and quietly so as not to upset her rhythm. I feel like I am trespassing on her solitude time and I better be respectful or she'll open a hidden trap door and shut me away for the night just to get a little peace.
That last paragraph may or may not be rich with metaphors which I will not go into right now. You're welcome.
Anyway, House and I made you these. You can see the whole group in my etsy shop.

Just a reminder that the last day to take advantage of the early registration price for my new course, You, On Purpose, is Dec. 15th - that's this coming Saturday. Consider it one of the best gifts you can give your creative self to start out the new year.
Oh so pretty! A feast for these tired eyes tonight.

You could work in a large jewelry store and try to work your way into the bridal section (I think it would be very fun to help nervous men pick out just the right ring - they need so much help sometimes!)
